We are seeking a candidate for the following part-time position:
The Director of Operations will manage many aspects of Simply Strategy’s operational functions. Key responsibilities include employee benefits and HR functions, oversight of accounting functions and bookkeeper, implementation of operational processes and systems. This role will interface with several of the outside consultants which support Simply Strategy’s operations. The Director of Operations will report directly to the Principal, and will be expected to operate in this role independently, with full ownership and accountability for assigned tasks. Specific assignments will include: -Business licensures, women-business enterprise certification applications and renewals -GSA schedule management, SAM's and other government registrations -Client file management including SharePoint and Microsoft Teams implementation -Implementing new Health Insurance program -Reviewing employee benefits and other insurance products -Staff training on systems -Social media budget management -Tax preparation and client audits -HR functions including HR functional audit, employee onboarding, compliance with government and client contract requirement, e.g. background checks, salary audits -Facilities management
15+ years of related experience required. Compensation $40 per hour; benefits include paid holidays and vacation, phone allowance, and a flexible schedule as well as fun, collegial co-workers.
The position is part-time, 15-25 hours per week, and can work remotely although an individual based in the St. Louis region is needed to accelerate team collaboration and training when required.
